2017 Camel City Elite Event by Event Preview 5th edition to award more than $40,000 in prize money and bonuses; RunnerSpace live stream
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – (February 2, 2017) – JDL Fast Track has brought together some of America’s best professionals and rising stars for its 5th Camel City Elite, to be held in Winston-Salem, NC, on Saturday, February 4. The annual indoor meet, featuring one of the largest prize purses in the U.S. indoor track & field season, will award more than $40,000 in prizes and bonuses in six events: men’s & women’s 800m, men’s & women’s mile and men’s & women’s 3000m. Each race will award prize money of $4000 (winner), $2000 (runner-up), $1000 (third) and $500 (fourth). Additionally, there is a $1000 bonus to the winner of each race if an event record is broken. The Camel City Elite meet is packaged into an exciting one hour and forty minute window. It will be streamed live online at www.jdlfasttrack.com as part of the RunnerSpace +Plus subscription package which starts at $12 a month.

ABOUT JDL FAST TRACK JDL Fast Track is a privately owned facility that is quickly becoming one of the premier indoor track & field venues in the southeast. Opened in 2012, the facility houses a 200-meter oval track with a Mondotrack FTX surface—the same surface used at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. With a seating capacity of 1,700, ten HD televisions showing real-time field event results, and five high definition projector screens for video playback, JDL Fast Track offers fans a unique track & field experience.
To-date, JDL Fast Track has hosted four national championships: 2014 NCAA Division II, 2015 NCAA Division III, 2015 USATF Masters Indoor and 2016 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
